Driving around Pyramid Lake, on the north side of Surprise Valley. I worked on a fire in the Poodles in 2025. The fire was about 600 acres but felt like 60,000 because of the lava rock you had to hike over. Luckily, the base of these mountains is much more forgiving. Taken with a Blazar Remus 50mm, on an A7SIII.
